During a visit with Nehemiah Jacobs at Orchard Hill retirement home, Kate is surprised when the serene atmosphere turns into a full-fledged drama. Resident Shirley Kraemer, beloved mother-in-law to Copper Mill’s mayor, has a sever allergic reaction to a medication.

As Kate observes the commotion around the home and prays for the fragile woman, she notices several folks behaving mysteriously behind the scenes.
